The new Avera Cancer Institute is currently the largest project recorded in Sioux Falls’ history. With a building shell of over 260,000 square feet, the building will change the face of cancer care in the region. The building will offer the latest technology and provide an integrated cancer treatment facility to help patients overcome the nation’s second leading killer.
The facility will also be home to an eight operating room state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center offering one of the healthiest patient-centered environments available anywhere.
The project started in the Summer of 2008 and is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2010.
Please feel free to visit the project webcam that is available on this website under this project. The webcam allows the user to temporarily take control of the camera to pan in/out, up/down, and zoom in/out to all locations on the jobsite.
